Weighing in at 55 tons, standing 8.20m tall, and armed with an assault rifle almost half his size, he is an impeccable machine built for combat. But Jason Miller Jr. was a US Marine famed for his courage and skill long before undergoing Hunter Genesis, which transformed him into the metal giant eventually known as Razorside.

As his reputation grew during his human years, he turned his back on the established world order to help those in danger of being left behind during the apocalyptic events of Mayday Omega. Leading the charge for spots on departing shuttles with his small unit of loyal, experienced fighters, he saved countless souls from having their lives cut short as Starfall unleashed its devastating effects on Earth.

Having secured a spot for himself and his team on one of the last ships, he was eventually caught raiding a medical facility for supplies. His captors presented him with a grim choice: become a Hunter or witness his followers’ demise.

Our Hunter Stories reflect on the defining events each hero faced before they became Hunters—and paint the emotions and motivations that lead them to the Hunting Grounds. Every Hunter carries the essence of its former flesh-and-blood self, now encased in metal; each battle reveals how they survived the apocalypse, and in every Hunter Genesis, there’s a spark that ignites hope among their followers.
