To be able to participate in our community activities, discussions, live streams and similar, you acknowledge and promise to respect our Code of Conduct. We strive to make the Steel Hunters community a vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming place for every one of our players. This set of basic guidelines and rules will help you be a part of this community and hopefully lead to a great experience for everyone involved.

Violations of this Code of Conduct or any rules listed in our EULA will be moderated by Steel Hunters staff and/or volunteer moderators. This includes all community channels (i.e., Discord, YouTube, Facebook) as well as in-game chat and voice channels. The exact methods and measures used for this moderation may vary depending on the specific platform and specific cases, but the principles below apply universally and we hope they will serve you as clear guidance.

We reserve the right to moderate content and users on all of our platforms for any reason at our own discretion. By diligently following the guidelines below, you will, however, be able to steer clear of conflicts and moderation.

Prohibited behavior:

• Excessive profanity and inappropriate language
  • If this is directed at a person, it is never acceptable
  • This also includes cases where it is abbreviated or otherwise altered
• Religious, political and other sensitive discussions not related to the game
  • Our community is not the right place for content that is likely to lead to conflict
• Discrimination and hateful speech
  • That includes, but is not limited to, hate speech based on race, gender, nationality, religion, etc.
• Discussing moderation or abusing its system
  • If you've had your content moderated and believe it was incorrect, please contact a Steel Hunters team member in private
  • Do not make false reports regarding content that is not breaking the rules
  • Do not create or use secondary accounts to bypass moderation or sanctions on your main account. Any such accounts will also be sanctioned
  • Do not repost content that was hidden, moderated or held for moderation
• Disrupting conversations in the community
  • This includes spam and off-topic content, which disrupts the way players communicate on a given platform or channel
  • Posting content in a language other than the official language for a specific channel
• Excessive self-promotion
  • Do not promote content outside of channels dedicated to content promotion
• Posting exploits/hacks
  • If you come across a bug, or a third-party tool that could impact gameplay, please report it using the appropriate channels
  • Do not discuss the exploitation of game mechanics or encourage the usage of mechanics outside of their intended design
• Personal attacks, disrespectful behavior
  • This includes trying to cause an argument or making sarcastic, off-topic, rude, stat shaming, or disruptive posts. Don't bait, flame, or troll. Don't provoke staff members or other members of the community
• Begging/soliciting
  • Including, but not limited to, asking users to transfer money to anywhere
• Posting links to sites that contain scams, phishing attempts, or content that violates the Code of Conduct
• Advertising account sales or services related to the game like grinding, leveling or pay-for-play competitive
• Account sharing
• Pornographic, drug-related, or other taboo or explicit content
• Inciting other players to violate this Code of Conduct, the EULA, and other applicable policies
• Distributing real-life personal information of any user
• Making threats of real-life violence
